WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2011, Indie Capital is an asset management firm that specializes in investing in Brazilian publicly traded companies. Our philosophy is to seek for and invest in outstanding companies, led by excellent managers, during their highest value-creation periods.
Our partnership is based on idea meritocracy, independent thinking, open-mindedness, and a steadfast search for capital appreciation opportunities. We bring simplicity and excellence to what we do. In search of constant improvement, we cultivate ownership and a spirit of non-conformity.
Our team is made up of people with diverse business experience analyzing and investing in private equity and publicly traded companies, managing companies, and performing macro-economic analyses. We value those we train in-house who can go on to strengthen our company culture.
On the investor side, we seek companies that share our philosophy and investment horizon. We serve a broad range of investors, including institutional investors, wealth managers, investment advisors, private and retail clients.

TEAM
Daniel was director of private equity at Pátria Investimentos, where he led the acquisition of Anhanguera Educacional SA, was CFO of LFG Business e Participações Ltda., and generated new investments for the private equity fund. Prior to Pátria, Daniel worked in the investment banking area of ABN AMRO bank and in the economics department of the Central Bank of Brazil. Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Economics from USP.
Felipe served as director of private equity at Pátria Investimentos, where he worked for more than 8 years investing for the fund and managing the portfolio companies Supplier, Anhanguera Educacional, and Casa do Pão de Queijo. Prior to Pátria, Felipe was an analyst in the IB area at Banco Pactual, performed equity research at Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia, and worked in risk management at ING Bank. Felipe holds a degree in Business Administration from FGV.
Henrique is a partner and equity analyst at Indie Capital. He worked as a sell-side equity analyst at Credit Suisse between 2013 and 2014 covering the health care, education, and financial sectors. Henrique holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).
João is a partner and equity analyst at Indie Capital. He worked as an equity research buy-side analyst at M Square Brasil between 2015 and 2017 covering the financial and insurance sectors. Prior to this, he worked as a macroeconomic and equity analyst at the CSHG Gauss fund. João holds a degree in Economics from USP.
After a 6-month internship, Sophia joined the analysis team full-time. Before Indie, she worked in private equity at Softbank and at Pátria Investimentos, and held summer jobs at BTG Pactual and Itaú BBA. Sophia holds a degree in Production Engineering from POLI-USP.
Cleto is an equity analyst at Indie Capital. Before joining the Indie team, he worked at an asset management firm and in real estate development and civil construction. Cleto holds a degree in Civil Engineering from UFPI and a postgraduate certificate in Finance from INSPER.
Breno is an equity analyst at Indie Capital. Before joining the team, he worked for two and a half years as an M&A consultant at Fortezza Partners. Breno holds a degree in Production Engineering from Poli-USP.
Paulo is responsible for institutional matters. He worked in M&A and planning at LFG and also managed a family office. Paulo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate degree in Finance from Insper.
Marcelo is the partner responsible for investor relations at Indie Capital. Previously, he worked as a corporate banking relationship manager at BNP Paribas. Marcelo holds a degree in Business Administration from FGV.
Verônica has an institutional role at Indie, navigating between the administrative, operations, commercial, and personnel areas.
With experience at companies such as PwC, Itaú BBA, and a law firm, Thais is responsible for administrative functions at Indie.
Camilo is the COO of Indie Capital. His career began with an internship at Itaú-Unibanco in 2012, where he moved up to financial planning analyst. In 2014, he switched to the operations area of Itaú Asset Management, where he acted as operations manager for offshore funds and FoF until 2021. Camilo holds a degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos – UFSCar.
Breno is responsible for Compliance and Programming at Indie Capital. Previously, he worked as a risk and operations analyst at Advis Investimentos from July 2011 to October 2013, at Neo Investimentos from November 2013 to October 2014, and at B3 from January 2015 to January 2018. Breno holds a degree in Engineering from the polytechnic school at USP.
